Welcome to the January Casually Crafting Blog Hop!

The Casually Crafting Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, gathered together to share our passion for creativity with you. Our focus is to bring you inspiration featuring projects that are easy to create while still packing a powerful creative punch. The projects are made with only a few products, making them ideally suited to a beginner or casual crafter.

This month we are using this sketch as the basis for our card designs.

My card highlights the new Happy Hedgehog Bundle on page 64 of the 2022 Jan-June Mini Catalog. I also used the beautiful and festive Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series paper that is a FREE Sale-A-Bration gift when you purchase $50 of product.

To Make This Card:

Fold a 5.5" x 8.5" Mint Macaron cardstock and scored at 4.25". This is your base card.
Use a Bone Folder to make a crisp fold along the score line.
Cut a 4.0" x 5.25" piece of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series paper and attach it the center of the base card.
Cut a 1.75" x 5.25" strip of Mint Macaron cardstock and attach to the upper portion of the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series paper.
Stamp the hedgehog and bird stamps from the Happy Hedgehog Stamp set onto a piece of Basic White cardstock using Cinnamon Cider ink.
Use the Hedgehog Builder Punch to punch out the Hedgehog.
Use Paper Snips to fussy cut out the bird.
Use Stampin' Markers to color the bird, flower, and hedgehog's eye.
Attach the hedgehog and bird to the Mint Macaron cardstock strip using dimensionals.
Stamp the " finding a friend is the best discovery of all" from the Happy Hedgehog Stamp set onto Basic White cardstock using Cinnamon Cider cardstock.
Punch out the sentiment with the Tailored Tag Punch.
Attach the sentiment to the Mint Macaron cardstock strip using dimensionals.
Tie a bow using the Mint Macaron Ribbon and attach it to the bottom of the sentiment using glue dots.
Add a 4.0" x 5.25" Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card using your favorite adhesive.
Add a 0.75" x 5.25" strip of Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series paper onto the Basic White cardstock using your favorite adhesive.
Add rhinestones to the eyes of the hedgehog and bird.
