This month our theme is Happy Birthday!
I just love daisies and I wanted to feature the Daisy Garden Stamp Set this month. To highlight the petals and leaves, I used White Stampin' Emboss Powder and my Heat Tool to heat emboss the images on the stamp set. Then I used the Fresh Freesia and Just Jade Stampin' Blends to embellish the images. I wish you could feel the card as the white embossing powder lifts the image off the paper. To make this into a gate card, I cut the stamped and colored image in half and attached them to Just Jade cardstock before attaching them to the front of the Fresh Freesia card base. The image was so dramatic, I decided not to add a sentiment or ribbon but to add a few Brushed Brass Butterflies (a new product coming out in the new Jan-June Mini Catalog). I didn't want to hide any of the image so I put the sentiment on the inside of the card with another Brushed Brass Butterfly.
