Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop - Favorite Stampin' Up! Product

 

We are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the world and our goal is to inspire folks to make and send cards to family and friends.

This month our theme is "Favorite Stampin' Up! Product". One of my favorite Stampin' Up! Products is the Art In Bloom Bundle on page 116 of the Annual Catalog. This new bundle includes the Art In Bloom Stamp Set and Dies as well as the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder.

To make this card,

• Select Basic White cardstock for the card base (5.5" x 8.5", scored at 4.25").
• Use a 4.0" x 5.25" piece of Just Jade cardstock and emboss it using the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder.
• Emboss two 4.0" x 5.25" pieces of Daffodil Delight cardstock and use the dies to cut out the flowers.
• Use a sponge dauber to highlight the flowers using Polished Pink ink. 
• Attach five of the flowers in the center of the Just Jade embossed cardstock using your favorite adhesive and dimensionals. 
• Stamp the sentiment onto Daffodil Delight cardstock using Just Jade ink and cut it out with the label die included in the bundle.
• Attach the sentiment to the top of the card front using dimensionals.
• Brush the flower petals with Wink of Stella.
• Add Rhinestones to the center of each flower.
• Attach the 6th flower onto the bottom of a 4.0" x 5.25" Basic White cardstock using your favorite adhesive.
• Attach the Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card using your favorite adhesive.

Casually Crafting Design Team Blog Hop - December 2021

 

The Casually Crafting Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world, gathered together to share our passion for creativity with you. Our focus is to bring you inspiration featuring projects that are easy to create while still packing a powerful creative punch. The projects are made with only a few products, making them ideally suited to a beginner or casual crafter. 

This month we are all designing cards based on the Tic Tac Toe above. My Easel Card features the Daisy Garden Stamp Set (floral stamp set), Basic Black ink, Basic Black cardstock, Gold Foil, Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends, and three Bumblebee Trinkets nestled inside some of the daisies. 

To make this card 

• Make a gate card with a piece of 4.25" x 11.0" scored at 2.75" on each end out of Basic Black cardstock. Metric measurements are 10.5 cm x 29.7 cm scored at 7.4 cm on each end
• Stamp the Daisy Stamp set onto a 3.75" x 5.0" (9.5 cm x 13.9 cm) Basic White cardstock using Basic Black ink. 
• Color in the daisies using the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
• Attach the stamped and colored Basic White cardstock to a piece of 4.0" x 5.25" (10.0 cm x 14.4 cm) Gold Foil using your favorite adhesive.
• Attach three Bumblebee Trinkets to the flowers using glue dots.
• Attach the top portion of the Gold Foil to the top flap of the Basic Black Gate Card using dimensionals. Be careful to only attach the top portion of the card so the card will open.
• Stamp "Thinking of You with all my heart" from Peaceful Moments Stamp Set onto Basic White cardstock using Basic Black ink.
• Attach the sentiment to a piece of Gold Foil and attach the sentiment to the inside of the bottom flap of the Basic Black Gate Card using dimensionals (see the photo below).

Creativity Abounds Design Team Blog Hop - December 2021

 

Welcome to our Creativity Abounds December Blog Hop!  We are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from across the world that create two projects a month with the goal of inspiring you to make cards.

Here are my awesome Design Team Members ....

This month our theme is Happy Birthday! 

I just love daisies and I wanted to feature the Daisy Garden Stamp Set this month. To highlight the petals and leaves, I used White Stampin' Emboss Powder and my Heat Tool to heat emboss the images on the stamp set. Then I used the Fresh Freesia and Just Jade Stampin' Blends to embellish the images. I wish you could feel the card as the white embossing powder lifts the image off the paper. To make this into a gate card, I cut the stamped and colored image in half and attached them to Just Jade cardstock before attaching them to the front of the Fresh Freesia card base.  The image was so dramatic, I decided not to add a sentiment or ribbon but to add a few Brushed Brass Butterflies (a new product coming out in the new Jan-June Mini Catalog). I didn't want to hide any of the image so I put the sentiment on the inside of the card with another Brushed Brass Butterfly.
