Monthly Blog Hop - July 2021

Welcome to our July Blog Hop! We're a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the world who design cards to inspire and each month we design Thank You cards for our valuable customers and team members.

We've had beautiful weather on the northern coast of California and with the recent low tides I spent some time exploring the tidepools. During my visit, it was like looking through an aquarium window and I was able to see various seaweeds, sea anemones, starfish, blue mussels, and small fishes. I took inspiration from my tidepool visit and the amazing Seascape Bundle to create this card.

My color combination includes Pacific Point, Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, and Basic White.  I used a piece of Expressions In Ink Designer Series paper for the background and highlighted the eyes with rhinestones.

I especially like how the coral die makes multiple cuts which enables you to pull parts forward to make them look like coral polyps filtering the water for food. Likewise, the seahorse dies are flexible and allow you to wrap the tail around a branch of coral which replicates nature perfectly.

Sign up for my newsletter and you'll get a pdf tutorial for making this card.

If you place an order with me in July, I'll be sending you one of these Thank You cards.  If you place a $50 or more order and use my July Host Code, CZYMRU4T, you'll also receive a Creativity Abounds Hand-Penned Tutorial Bundle or you can purchase it for $15 by emailing me at ses@aquarius.family
