Monthly Blog Hop - June 2021

Welcome to our June Blog Hop! We're a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from around the world who design cards to Thank our valuable customers and team members each month. This is the card I will be sending to everyone who places an order with me in June.

I want to try something different this month, so my card uses the Shaving Cream Technique. I forgot how much I enjoy using this technique! However, I'll warn you that its a little messy - I think that's why I like it so much.

Materials:  Small Container or Plate, Shaving Cream, Toothpicks, Reinkers (I used Magenta Madness, Bumblebee, and Just Jade), Butter Knife, and lots of Paper Towels. You can use any brand shaving cream - this just happens to be my husband's brand.

Step 1: Squirt a small amount of shaving cream into the container or plate. Use the knife to smooth the top of the shaving cream.

Step 2: Add ink to the shaving cream and stir with the toothpicks.

Step 3: Cut 4" x 5.25" Basic White cardstock and place the cardstock on top of the inked shaving cream. Gentle press the paper into the shaving cream.

Step 4: Remove cardstock from the ink and place right-side up onto a paper towel. Place a folded paper towel over the inked cardstock and press firmly. Then remove all the excess shaving cream with paper towels.

Step 5: Attach the inked cardstock to a Just Jade base card using your favorite adhesive.

Step 6: Stamp the "Thank You" sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set onto the front of the card base in Basic Black in.

Step 7: Cut out three butterflies cut out from the Brilliant Wings using Basic Black cardstock and attach with dimensionals.

Step 8: Add three pearls to the butterflies to finish the card.

I love the way the colors merged to form this beautiful background. You could add any sentiment, dies, and embellishments to fit any occasion. I hope you add shaving cream to your list of crafting supplies.

Please place an order with me by simply heading to my Online Store and use the Host Code WS3W4ERY. You will receive one of these beautiful Thank You Cards and a Tutorial Bundle as gifts from me.

Thank you for visiting my blog - Sea Ranch Creations and please be sure to "hop" around to see other incredible creations from other demonstrators.

Happy Stamping!
Susan
