Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - June 2021

The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire others to keep our creative energy flowing.

This blog hop is a sketch challenge! I really like sketch challenges because it pushes you to think outside of your normal design layouts.  Here is the sketch we were asked to use in our card design.

This challenge made me realize that I rarely use squares in my card layouts. As you can see, I used three squares and placed the sentiment on the bottom corner of the card but those are the only components I used from the sketch. My mind got wandering, I changed the orientation of the card, and designed my own creation....

I really like the Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp set so I included it in my card design. I created my own background colors on Basic White cardstock using a brayer lightly inked with Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo.  I stamped the shells in Basic Black to showcase the beauty of nature's design.

Thank you for visiting my blog - Sea Ranch Creations today! Please be sure to "hop" around the list to be inspired with how other demonstrators used the sketch.

Happy Stamping!
Susan
