Welcome to the October Blog Hop!
Last month I started a Monthly Mystery Card session with my customers. I provided them with a list of card requirements and specific measurements that they need to use to make 4 different cards. Everyone used whatever cardstock, designer series paper, inks, and stamp sets. We shared our cards on-line via a zoom call. We were all amazed that even with the exact paper measurements and requirements we made such different cards. Each month one person we will draw one person's name and they will receive a gift package with Stampin' Up products. Please let me know if you want to join us by emailing me at ses@aquarius.family.
Here is one of the cards I made using basic cardstock and the Positive Thoughts stamp set:

Great card, Susan! Love the colours you've chosen too. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm glad you like the card.
DeleteLovely card Susan.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! How this Monthly Mistery Card works? It sound like fun!!
ReplyDeleteHi Marina
DeleteIt is a lot of fun. I make a sketch of a card and then I send the paper measurements and card requirements based on the sketch to my group. They all take the information and create 4 different cards. They can use plain cardstock (like the card I posted) or embossed cardstock, stamped cardstock, or designer series paper. I'll try to post my other three cards later today so you can see the variety of cards made with the same paper requirements.
Lovely card.. have just started mystery card making with my team..its great fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, this was the first month our group tried it and I think everyone enjoyed it.
DeleteGreat idea to run a Mystery card using the same stash and see what everyone comes up with. Lovely card
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy,
DeleteIn our Mystery card series each person uses what they already have (papers, ink, stamp sets, embellishments) but they follow the same paper measurements to make their cards. Folks really liked being able to make four different cards from the same sketch AND to use up some of their supplies. It is a win-win. Thank you for commenting.
Beautiful card Susan! Thank you for taking part in our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop this month.
ReplyDeleteThe Mystery card series sounds like a fun idea Susan! Great card! :)
